For 25 years, Captain Peihua Ku served with the United States Navy, including 12 years of full-time active duty. Peihua Ku served in many positions, including time aboard the USS Alexandria and the USS Boise.
In addition, Peihua Ku received numerous awards for his military service, including four Joint Defense Meritorious Service Medals, three Navy and Marine Corps Meritorious Service Medals, Navy Pistol Qualification Ribbon, and Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal . Captain Peihua Ku has held leadership positions with SolutionsATI and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Peihua Ku graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in general biology. He remains involved with his alma mater as the Director of Technology with the Cornell Alumni Association of Northern California. He also holds a Master of Science in Molecular Physiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey.
